FACILITY USE

Oakland Presbyterian Church is a busy place!

Our facility use is open to many organizations in the community and within our church family.  Besides our traditional, formal sanctuary, we also encompass:

The Christian Life Center: this houses our preschool, and includes a full gym, stage with tech support, restrooms with showers, and a functional kitchen. The CLC has hosted Upward Sports, Scout meetings and events, and harvest festivals, among many things.

Our Outdoor Space: a spacious, fully-fenced and secure area that includes a large covered pavilion and safe playground, shaded by mature oaks.

Our Fellowship Hall: this area includes an open meeting space that can be arranged to suit small to medium-sized events, and has its own kitchen. This space in regular use by a local chapter of Alcoholics Anonymous and has been used by local schools for breakfast meetings.

Our Education Wing: this hallway includes our nursery and several Sunday School rooms, well-equipped for small groups of children, youth, and adults to meet for study and quiet fellowship.

For facility use, we schedule and coordinate events, meetings, and activities in advance to prevent calendar conflicts and ensure adequate preparation time. We do our best to accommodate the needs of our church members and our community, and can offer use of technical equipment as well as hosting events in our space.
