Summer at Oakland Presbyterian Church is a busy time! Registration will start soon for the following camps:

 

 

VBS

Miss Tiffany, our Director of Christian Education, leads this fun-filled Vacation Bible School. At VBS, children will get to explore and experience how the ordinary becomes extraordinary with God!  The adventure includes music that will wow your ears, interactive Bible fun, super science, cool crafts, and more!

Hello fellow LEGO builders!  It’s time to announce the dates for LEGO Day Camp 2017!  Two separate week long day camps are being offered.  Due to the popularity of our camp, builders will be limited to signing up for one week only.  Builders must be entering grades 1st through 8th for the 2017-2018 school year in order to attend camp.

 

Week One – June 12th – 16th, 2017

Week Two – July 17th – 21st, 2017

 

The cost for each week is $125 per builder and includes two daily snacks.  Builders need to bring their own lunch with a freezer pack if it needs to stay cold.  We may not have adequate space to keep lunches cold.  I think that about covers it for now.  More information along with registration information will be sent out closer to the registration date (February 4th).  I’m announcing the dates early so you can plan accordingly.

 

At LEGO camp children get to experience faith through LEGOS!  We will do fun activities such as bring Bible stories to life through “Build a Bible Story,” create interactive robots, build machines, use our imagination in free build, enjoy the excitement of mini figure Bingo, and much more!

Music Camp

Dates: July 24-28

Time: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Ages: Kindergarten through 5th grade (completed)

Cost: $125 per child

Snacks will be provided, but campers should bring a packed lunch and drink daily.

 

Participants will experience various musical activities: hand bells, vocal music, musical games, hand chimes, Orff mallets, recorders, outdoor recreation, movie and game room time.

 
A musical, Good Kings Come in Small Packages, will be presented on the last day of camp.

 

 

 

YCM Band Camp
